Rav Shamsi
Former academy and professional footballer from England, and the founder and head coach of FEP Player Development in Dubai.
Playing career
Rav (Ravin) Shamsi is a forward and winger who came through the youth academies at Fulham and Oxford United. He went on to play senior football in England for clubs including Maidenhead United in the National League and Leamington in the National League North, as well as AFC Rushden and Diamonds, Nuneaton Borough, Banbury United, Stratford Town, Chesham United, Kidlington and St Ives Town.
Why he started FEP
Playing professionally and semi-professionally in England taught Rav that talent alone does not take a player to the next level. What separates players is mentality, discipline and the quality of coaching they get every week. The right technical details change everything: how you move, how you think under pressure and how you decide when the game speeds up.
FEP was created to give players in Dubai that kind of real development: confident athletes, stronger mindsets and complete footballers who understand the game.
How he coaches
- Sessions built around each player's position and goals
- Technical detail taken from the professional game
- Honest feedback and a clear plan after every session
- Mindset, discipline and confidence alongside skill
